After a national competition, the Alton Community Unit School District 11 selected the RESPONSEnet solution to protect their student population and empower their first responder agencies.

VES designed, developed and executed a web based, emergency training & response system implementation for the Alton Community Unit School District 11. The mission of Alton Community Unit School District No. 11, through quality programs, appropriate resources, and a dedicated staff, is to educate students to be responsible, creative, self-sufficient citizens who have the capacity and motivation for continued individual growth, respect for cultural diversity, and the ability to contribute positively to a democratic community

The VES team has well over 100 years combined experience in the fields of emergency response, preparedness and planning. For fifteen years our team has worked with public safety organizations and clients, including state and national associations and the federal government. VES staff has excelled at conducting safety assessments, vulnerability studies, and developing national instructional programs which have provided training for thousands of organizations and tens of thousands of clients and public safety officers.

In addition to our safety programs and nationally recognized training, the VES team has developed comprehensive crisis response plans, pandemic plans, crisis communication programs, safety and vulnerability assessments and tabletops exercises.

RESPONSEnet™ has been certified with the Department of Homeland Security as a “Safety Act” certified technology and is listed on the QATT (Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology) list as well as the Department of Homeland Security AEL and SEL approved product lists. Find out more at www.safetyact.gov
